Suggestion Box
Have you noticed that businesses, schools, and organizations no longer have a “suggestion box” hanging out somewhere? Indeed, it is an old school method.
Managers who are open to optimizing their operations would look at the suggestion box as a great opportunity.
The suggestion box has entered the same vortex as getting your resume to HR for that job you want.
The biggest takeaway is that most people nowadays do not want your suggestions. They do not want to hear that they need to change. It is like the fact that you cannot get ahold of a human to get help at organizations anymore either. No one wants to hear that something went wrong, you have a complaint or that they might have to assist you in returning their product.
We as believers treat God like He has a “suggestion box”. We say that we want to fulfill His purpose and plan for us, but we have a few “suggestions” we would like to throw out there.
He did not require our assistance in creating everything. Including us, I might add. And in all transparency, have our suggestions ever been better than what He laid out in the first place?
A simple, “Here am I, send me” will do.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
